On this blog, I have already confessed an interest in horology. By chance, during the Summer of 2006, I had the opportunity to meet an interesting watchmaker in Finland, Stepan Sarpaneva, who set up his own company two years ago. His atelier is located in the old Cable Factory, formerly occupied by Nokia when that brand was synonymous with electric cables, tyres and rubber boots (yes, I assure you that is true). If you're interested in horology, or simply curious to find out how a young watchmaker took the risk of setting up his own business, perhaps you would like to read my article, published in October 2006 on Europastar On Line: http://www.europastar.com/europastar/search/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003255588
