Luxemburg is known as a financial centre, as a venue for fairs (the one devoted to gastronomy, organized every 4 years, is being held now), for its white wines, and more generally for its high standard of living. But even among well-informed amateurs of fine watches, the Grand Duchy is not the place where one would seek out a watchmaker, although it has its share of upper-end jewelry and watch stores. Le Luxembourg est connu en tant que centre financier, comme lieu d'accueil de foires (celle consacrée à la gastronomie, organisée tous les 4 ans, se tient en ce moment), mais également pour ses vins blancs, et plus largement pour son haut niveau de vie. Mais même parmi les amateurs éclairés de montres de qualité, le Grand Duché n'est pas l'endroit où l'on rechercherait a priori un fabricant de montres, même si le Luxembourg dispose de nombre de boutiques de bijoux et de montres de luxe.
